27 children aged 5 to 18 joined a two day theatre and craft workshop on 16th and 17th February. The event was held at the EKSS facility in the grounds of the Marlowe Academy - and the cost was just £10 per day, including lunch, snacks and drinks. On Thursday, the children created puppets and gave a puppet show based on their favourite books and films (Harry Potter and Smurfs featured heavily!). On Friday, the theme was monsters and aliens, and they created scary masks and monster dens. At the end of the day, they danced "The Monster Mash" and sang "The Purple People Eater" for their parents and families - A whole lot of fun !!!
