Minster Playhouse received at the Obelisk Awards the Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of the 40 years we have spent entertaining the people of Thanet. A fun evening, and we were proud to pick this up on behalf on everyone who's taken part in one of our productions over the years.

A gloriously funny examination of the chaotic world of love, relationships and why the grass is never greener. Duets is a hilarious tribute to the strength and madness of the human heart.

We are delighted to announce that we raised £1500 for our chosen charities last year - Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of our dear friend Scott Steele.

Our chosen charity for 2020, is the Thanet Disabled Riding Centre which has been established for over 30 years in a self-contained riding school in the grounds of Maurice House in Broadstairs.

Following the new restrictions laid out by the government regarding Coronavirus we have had no other choice but to postpone our May play “Duets” until the autumn. We hope you understand and look forward to seeing you all soon.
