We are pleased to inform you that our very own Stephen Clement was awarded an Mbe on the Queens 90th birthday honours list for his services to border protection we so very proud and delighted as a playhouse to see this happen.

Neal Morcom was welcomed as the Playhouse's new President at the AGM in February.
Neal has been an active member of the Playhouse for many years, taking on numerous acting roles and sourcing the amazing sound tracks that provide the atmosphere and set the tone for all our productions.
You can see him next in the lead role in Inspector Drake.
Minster Playhouse are pleased to announce they will be performing the comedy 'Lame Ducks' written by members James Coare and Barbara Dobson for their Next production on 19th-22nd September. Auditions will be held on Thursday 17th May 2018 at 7:30pm at Minster Library. There are 10 characters (ages are just a guide):
Joan - late 50s/early 60s. A gentle woman who has given up her life to nurse her father.
Ruth- late 40s/early 50s. Married to Edward. A dedicated and kindly brown owl who has an aversion to squirrels.
Anita- late 40s/early 50s. A three time widower with a vicious tongue and an interest in Edward.
Peter - late 20s/early 30s. A very camp man who's a qualified life coach despite his many ailments.
Belinda - mid to late 70s. An immobile woman who is mostly incoherent and has a fondness for alcohol.
Malcolm - late 20s/early 30s. Joan's rogue nephew who is fresh from an appearance on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
Edward - late 40s/early 50s. Ruth's domineering husband who claims to be an upstanding member of the community.
Kelly - late 20s/early 30s. Joan's cleaner who has 4 children by 4 different fathers.
Police officer - Any age.
Donald - late 40s/early 50s Anita's current husband who is suffering from a 'male complaint'.
